Few minutes ago we released new Android version of DocScanner (1.50) This new version adds Google Docs integration. Now you can send documents directly to Google Docs.

Google Docs is a free, Web-based word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, form, and data storage service offered by Google. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. Google Docs combines the features of Writely and Spreadsheets with a presentation program incorporating technology designed by Tonic Systems. Data storage of any files up to 1GB each in size was introduced on January 13, 2010.

One more reason to use Google Docs is that it makes OCR to the scanned docs. Google Docs also plays nice with Android.

There is no DocScanner app in the android market store. Any clues what’s happening??

    • Hi,
In many countries Android Market does not make it possible to buy paid applications. Can you buy any application or do you only see the free ones?
