Brightness and contrast sliders
In the early versions users had to press a button to update the adjustemts with the sliders, but now the sliders work in realtime and you can see the results as you make adjustments.

Paper size adjustment
This bugfix enables users adjust what the function actually was ment for. Before this, the adjustment was overridden and the result wasn’t correct.

Google Docs and the Dropbox .pdf extension
There has been reported issues with this one, but now the documents will have the .pdf extension and opens as a pdf -file.

4.0.1 update is now available. If you have iPhone 3G with ios 4, you should go to Settings and turn on “Standard Image Picker” option. Next update 4.0.2 will fix some other issues.

The version we initially launced had some critical bugs that have been fixed for a while now. The current version has got an integration to Google Docs as well.

We get tons of questons of why DocScanner for Android isn’t available in the Android Market. The problem is, that the Android market doesn’t offer paid applications to every country. Here’s a list of countries where you can buy DocScanner:

Does SayText work on iPhone 3GS?

Yes, it does. We assume, that SayText works better with the iPhone 4, but we havn’t got one yet to try it out.

Does it come for other platforms too?

Right now we’re focusing on the iPhone version, but perhaps later we’ll develop versions for other popular platforms as well.

Does it support other languages, than english?

Not yet, but we’ll look into it and we’ll probably get translations for the most common languages. Japanese, chinese, korean and cyrillic text are a bit tricky for the OCR, but we might get those too in a few months – no promises though.

Google Docs is a free, Web-based word processor, spreadsheet, presentation, form, and data storage service offered by Google. It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users. Google Docs combines the features of Writely and Spreadsheets with a presentation program incorporating technology designed by Tonic Systems. One more reason to use Google Docs is that it makes OCR to the scanned docs. Google Docs also plays nice with Android.

DocScanner 1.3 running on Nexus One

Many of our Android users have been angry for a reason after downloading DocScanner 1.2 for Android. Sorry for the inconvenience. There was a nasty bug that caused crashing with latest Android devices.

Now we have fixed these issues in DocScanner 1.3 for Android. In near future we are about to add new features to the Android version. These will include Google Docs support that is also coming up to DocScanner iPhone.

There is three variations, of how you can delete a document:

1. Tap the “edit” -button on the documents view

• Tap the red button on the left next to a document
• Tap the “Delete” -button on the right side

2. Swipe over a document on the documents view

• Tap the “Delete” -button on the right side

3. Drag a page to the trashcan at the Copy/reorder -view
