  1. does not save as jpeg — only sends as jpeg ???

  2. Yes,

We did not think this through at the first time, sorry. Next release fixes this issue.

  3. Would be useful to have the option to do several or all of: 1) save a doc locally; 2) upload to idisk / WebDAV; 3) email as jpeg or PDF; currently one has to chose one of these only. Will multiple options be possible in the new release? Automatically saving all docs to the docscanner local store would be useful — with an option to delete no longer needed ones. Thanks. — Pete

    • Thats a great idea to combine the tasks. It wont hit the next release but we will definitely go this through and see if we can do it later. The next version of the DocScanner will be sent to Apple for review on this week.

  4. Where are the instructions for doing Multipage documents?

    • We’ll add those soon, thanks for noticing. If you save the document as “DocScanner-docuement” you will be able add more pages.

  5. Really like the app (and prefer it over Jot). In 99% of the cases I only need black and white documents and it significantly reduces the file size. Please add support for that out of the box. After scanning a doc and filing it I do not want to post-process it anymore–then I can also scan it right away on a scanner with auto-feeder. The beauty for me is in the file-and-forget. The Document UI could be a bit more intuitive but other people already mentioned that…

  6. When using iPhone it frequently changes fro a “portrait” image to a “landscape” one even when photo’d in portrait. Why?

  7. Hi, I’m interested in buying this App for iPhone, but there is just on think missing, a way to save the PDF or JPEG file on the disk and transfer them to the PC instead sending them by email. Will this funktion come soon ?

    • Since 3.0 DocScanner has had a WIFI-Share feature, hope this helps.

  8. Can it remove uneven shadows, such from lighting gradient on paper and especially whiteboard

    • Hi,

Yes, DocScanner removes shadows. You should check that you have “Aggressive” white balance on in the settings.

  9. Will the document (after spooling) be serchable/editable in the pdf that is mailed?
