   scanned 38 – sites (approx. 1770 x 2500 each photo) and want to send it as pdf via eMail.

     I’m sorry to hear you have problems with DocScanner. I assume that your email cannot take in too big attachments. If you have big documents you could start WIFI-Share and use your browser to get the images or PDF. Also iDisk works nice with big files.
